There are other little snags with Power Pivot that make it not entirely suitable for Business Analysts, yet.... I think if Microsoft can fine tune Power Pivot some more we will have a tool that end users and BA's alike can use for some very powerful analytics.
Below is a video with the official Microsoft pre-release of information about Project Crescent. It sounds interesting but it is way too early to see how effective this tool will be.
